These terms apply to all standard club sessions, workshops and drop-in activities booked through our Bookwhen platform.
Booking
All bookings are only confirmed when full payment has been made. Bookings are subject to availability — the system automatically prevents bookings for fully booked sessions.
Advance reservations are required before sessions commence. The person making the reservation accepts these booking terms on behalf of all attendees in their party.
Customers may purchase individual sessions or Class Passes. Class Passes are valid for the advertised number of session uses and can be used for multiple attendees on a single event, a single attendee on multiple events, or any combination up to the total use limit.
Custom events and bespoke bookings follow their own agreed terms confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
Payment
We accept payment in UK Sterling only. Payments are processed securely via Stripe and we accept: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover & Diners, Japan Credit Bureau, and China UnionPay.
Cancellation & Refunds
We operate a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. You may cancel or transfer your booking online up to 48 hours before the session starts. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable.
Missed classes are not refundable.
If we need to change or cancel a session for any reason, we will let you know as early as possible and offer an alternative session. If the alternative does not suit you, a full refund will be given.
Safeguarding & Supervision
We are committed to safeguarding all attendees at our sessions. All INR facilitators are DBS-checked and first-aid trained. A first aid kit is available at every session.
A responsible adult must remain on the premises for all participants under 16 years old. INR is a facilitated activity, not a childcare provider.
INR is not responsible for the supervision of children before or after sessions. Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring their child arrives and departs safely.
All staff are obligated to report any suspected abuse or neglect to the relevant authorities.
Health & Illness
Please do not bring your child to a session if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class. Attendees must not participate if household members are currently isolating for medical reasons.
If you or any member of your party test positive for a notifiable illness within 48 hours of attending a session, you must inform Instructions Not Required as soon as possible.
Behaviour & Right to Remove
Instructions Not Required reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying behaviour that is disruptive or harmful to others.
Our staff are entitled to work in a safe environment. If participant behaviour makes this impossible, we reserve the right to suspend or end a session. No refund will be given.
Photography & Media
Instructions Not Required occasionally takes photographs and videos at our venues, which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes including on our website and social media. If you would prefer your child not to be photographed, please inform a member of staff at the start of the session.
Loss & Injury
Instructions Not Required and its staff are not responsible for any loss or injury sustained during a session, except where proven negligence on our part can be demonstrated.
Instructions Not Required holds comprehensive public liability and employers' liability insurance.

These terms apply to birthday parties, school visits, corporate events and all other bespoke bookings. For standard weekly club sessions, see the Standard Bookings tab.
Payment Terms
A 25% booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your date. If the booking is made less than one month before the event date, full payment is required immediately.
The remaining balance is due one month before the event date. We accept payment in UK Sterling only.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing at least 30 days before the event date and will incur a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will be subject to the full fee — no refund will be given.
We strongly recommend taking out event cancellation insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
Force Majeure
We reserve the right to cancel, alter or delay any booking where forced to do so by circumstances beyond our control, including serious illness, severe weather, terrorism or any other circumstances that would put our employees or participants at risk.
In the event of circumstances preventing us from fulfilling our obligations, our liability is limited to a refund of any monies paid, or a pro-rata reduction in the fee in the event of a delayed start. No further compensation will be paid.
Safety & Conduct
Our staff are entitled to work in a safe environment at all times. If this becomes a problem, we reserve the right to suspend the activity without refund.
We reserve the right to remove any person who is deemed unmanageable or a danger to the safety or enjoyment of others. No refund will be given.
Safety is paramount and all participants must accept that the decision of the supervisor is final.
No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs may participate in any of our activities.
No food, drink, silly string, confetti, fireworks or similar items are permitted near any of the activities. Any damage caused by prohibited items will be charged to the client.
School Bookings
Where the booking is on behalf of a school or educational establishment, it is the school's responsibility to obtain parental permission and any necessary medical information, and to inform the relevant County Council and Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) where required.
Damage & Loss
In the event of any damage or loss caused by participants to our property or equipment (beyond fair wear and tear), the client will be charged the full replacement cost.
No liability is accepted for loss or damage to participants' personal belongings including clothing, cameras, watches or mobile phones.
No liability is accepted for personal injury or death of any participants, however caused, unless by proven negligence of Instructions Not Required.
Access & Setup
Our equipment is heavy and can be difficult to transport. Please contact us in advance regarding any access issues such as stairs, lifts, narrow doorways, or travel distances greater than 25 metres from the loading area to the setup area. We must also be informed in advance if equipment is not being set up on the ground floor.
If upon arrival at a venue we are unable to operate due to access, space, age restrictions, weather or any other reason noted on this form, no refunds will be due.
All activities require a flat indoor space and, where possible, one table per four participants and a chair per person.
Parking
Parking will always be required for our event vehicle during a booking. Any congestion charges, parking fees or other tolls not included in the original quote will be payable by the client.
Unsupervised / Dry Hire
Where activities are hired unsupervised (dry hire), it is the hirer's responsibility to ensure all parts are returned complete and intact. Any lost or broken parts must be paid for by the hirer at full replacement cost. This also applies to overnight bookings and exhibition stand hire.
Instructions Not Required will not be liable for damage caused by activity pieces to surrounding property, including TV screens, windows, plaster or paintwork. We cannot set up on balconies, mezzanines or any elevated areas where pieces may fall onto people below.
Photography & Media
Photographs may be taken during bookings and events for our own marketing purposes (website, social media, newsletter). Please let us know in advance if photography is not permitted at your event.

These terms apply to all LEGO® set hire and brick hire arrangements.
Hire Agreement
Sets are hired in good faith and are expected to be returned complete and in reasonable condition. A piece inventory is provided with every hire. The hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of the set throughout the hire period.
Missing or damaged pieces beyond fair wear and tear will be charged at cost. A deposit may be required for high-value sets, refundable on safe and complete return.
Payment & Duration
Full hire payment is required at the time of booking. Hire periods and pricing are as quoted at the time of booking. Extensions to the hire period must be agreed in advance and will incur additional charges.
Return Condition
All sets must be returned in the same condition as supplied — sorted, complete, and in the provided packaging or bags. We reserve the right to charge for cleaning or re-sorting if sets are returned in a poor state.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the hire start date for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable.
Liability
Instructions Not Required is not liable for any injury or damage caused by the use of hired sets during the hire period. Hirers are responsible for ensuring sets are used safely and appropriately, particularly where children are involved.

These terms apply to all INR gift vouchers purchased online or in person.
Validity
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Vouchers not redeemed within this period will expire and cannot be reinstated.
Vouchers are automatically treated as redeemed if a booking is made but not attended.
Redemption
Each voucher contains a single-use code emailed to the purchaser on purchase. To redeem, enter the code in the discount box on the Bookwhen booking platform. Vouchers are valid for a single transaction only.
Where a physical voucher is issued, it must be presented on arrival for validation.
Restrictions
Gift vouchers are subject to availability and all standard booking terms apply once redeemed. Vouchers cannot be:
- Combined with other discount codes, offers or promotions
- Redeemed for cash in part or full
- Used to purchase additional gift vouchers
- Transferred or sold to another person
- Used during sales or special promotional events (unless stated)
No credit or change will be given on the unused portion of a voucher.
Lost or Stolen Vouchers
Instructions Not Required cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen vouchers and no replacement will be issued.
Refunds
Gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.
Changes to Terms
Instructions Not Required reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of a voucher after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
